What’s new in CrewDocket

What changed and when. Only what’s live for every business is here — nothing announced before it works.

  • From yes to booked

When a customer accepts, the note they leave — a gate code, the dog — lands on the job, “this week” books your next working day, and the job is named for everything they bought. The quote then reads “Booked tomorrow”.

    How it works
  • Quotes and invoices on paper

Print or save a PDF and each count prints with its unit — 1,800 sq ft at $0.35 — and nothing on the page points at a button paper doesn’t have.

    How it works

  • Quote by the square foot

Add a service sold by the square foot, the window or the hour and the quote asks how many right under the line: 1,800 × $0.25 = $450. The line reads “Sq ft 1,800”, not “Qty”.

    How it works
  • Booking, one screen

Pick the day from a row — Today, Tomorrow, Sat — and a service priced by the square foot asks how many and works out the price. A job days away offers “Ask them to confirm”, the text already written.

    How it works
  • A price book you fill in a minute

On a phone, your price book reads like a price list: each service and its unit on the left, one price box on the right. Type a price, tap Next, type the next. Tap a name to rename it.

    How it works
  • Texting, tidied up

Start a text by typing a name or a number. Quick replies fit the moment — an apology under a complaint, “On our way” only on a job day — and “Remind me to send” offers tomorrow morning in one tap.

  • Accept and pay without scrolling

On a phone, the quote your customer opens keeps “Accept · $56.50” at the bottom of the screen, and an unpaid invoice keeps “How to pay”. One tap from the price.

    How it works
  • Your crew sees their pay, not your prices

On Jobs and Home, a crew member sees what each job pays them — “$17”, “$149 your pay” — never what you charge. Times read in words: “a week ago”, not “1w ago”.

    How it works
  • New leads open on the reply

A new request opens with its first reply in view — no scrolling past three Text buttons to reach it. Tap their number to call; the board says “no reply in 6 days”.

    How it works
  • A client sheet that agrees with itself

A customer on a recurring plan reads “Weekly plan · 1 day overdue” everywhere on their sheet. Tap their number to call, or their next visit to open it.

    How it works
  • Invoices you can read at a glance

Every invoice says where it stands in words: “Due in 6 days · not sent yet”, “Paid Tue, Oct 6 · e-transfer”. On an invoice, tap the job to open it or the number to call.

    How it works

  • Help, in the app and on the web

Short guides for every screen. Tap Help under your initials or in the sidebar — or just search for what you’re stuck on.

  • Quotes build top to bottom

Add a service sits right under the lines instead of below the total, and the “What’s included” example always matches your own trade.

    How it works
  • A clearer job sheet

Who it’s for leads, with one strip to call, text or get directions. The checklist, photos and sign-off come first; the schedule reads as one tidy list.

    How it works
  • Monday brief

Monday morning, your week on your phone: last week’s jobs and money in, anything not marked done, this week’s bookings, what’s owed and quotes waiting.

    How it works
  • Book by the count

Pick a service priced per window or per square foot and you’re asked how many; the total works itself out, and the invoice reads “12 × $6.00”.

    How it works
  • Add a customer from the quote

Type a name you don’t have yet into a quote or invoice and add them right there — no trip to Clients first.

    How it works
  • Customer sign-off

When the job’s done, hand the customer the phone. Their name and signature go on the job and on the invoice they open.

    How it works
  • Photos on the customer’s page

Each finished visit on their page shows the crew’s before-and-after photos.

    How it works
  • The crew can flag more work

“Spotted more work here?” on any job. The office sees it on Home and starts the quote in one tap, priced from the book.

  • A first reply for every new request

A new lead opens with the reply already written — their name, what they asked about, the estimate if your form showed one, and two days you have room. Edit it, then text or email.

    How it works
  • Customers who send you work

Turn on referrals and every customer’s page gets a Send a friend link. Their friend’s request says who sent them, and Home reminds you to say thanks.

    How it works
  • Jobs in your phone’s calendar

Every job in Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar, kept up to date. Each person on the crew sees just theirs.

    How it works
  • Raise prices in one go

Put the season’s increase on the whole price book — and on your regular customers’ plans, if you choose — with a preview first.

    How it works
  • Quote templates

Save the jobs you quote again and again, and start any quote from one.

    How it works
  • Customers can ask for another day

From their page, a customer can pick a different day from the days you have room on, or book past work again. You answer from Home with a tap.

    How it works
  • Job photos on the invoice

The crew’s before-and-after photos sit under the total on the invoice your customer opens.

    How it works
  • Notifications open what they’re about

Tap a notification and you land on that job, lead or quote — not on the list.

  • Move a rained-out day

Move every job on a day at once, to the next clear day, with each customer’s text already written.

    How it works
  • A free website page

Your request-form link opens as your own page: your services and prices, where you work, and buttons to get an estimate, call or text.

    How it works
  • Customers pick the day as they accept

Turn on online booking and customers choose from the days you have room on when they accept a quote. You confirm it with a tap.

    How it works
  • Opens faster

Less loads before your first screen, so CrewDocket opens quicker on a phone.

  • Instant estimates on your request form

Turn on prices for your form and customers see each service priced from your price book as they choose. The request arrives with the estimate on it.

    How it works
  • Job checklists

Each service has its steps, ticked off on the job. Every trade starts with checklists for its core services.

    How it works
  • Expenses and sales tax at filing time

Log fuel, materials and dump fees with the tax on the receipt. Profit shows the tax you charged, the tax you paid, and CSVs for your accountant.

    How it works
  • A page for every customer

One link with their visits, bills and quotes, kept up to date.

    How it works
  • Home shows what’s next

An empty day offers the next day with work, and Home tells you when an earlier job was never marked done.

  • Receipts by text

A paid invoice texts a receipt, and Mark paid asks how they paid.

    How it works
  • Match a pile of e-transfers

Paste your Interac emails and each deposit is matched to its invoice for you to approve.

    How it works
  • Made for the phone in your hand

The price book, client sheet and quote builder fit a phone, and dates read in words — “Oct 6”, not 2026-10-06.

  • CrewDocket opens

Quotes, jobs, invoices, crew pay and customer pages in one app, for crews who work outside.
