CrewDocket
Moving from JobberBuilt in Canada for outdoor service crews

Bring your customers over in a minute.

Export your client list from Jobber, drop the file into CrewDocket, and everyone’s here — names, numbers, emails, addresses and notes. Nobody gets a message. You see the list before anything is saved.

The move

Three steps, one evening.

  1. 01

    Export your clients

Download your client list from Jobber as a CSV file. Housecall Pro, QuickBooks, Google Contacts and spreadsheets export the same kind of file — any of them works.

  2. 02

    Import it here

Clients → Import, pick the file. Columns are matched by their names — display name or first and last, mobile and other phones, emails, billing or service address — and you see who’s coming in before you save.

  3. 03

    Set your prices and crew

Pick your trade and your price list is already started — put in your rates. Invite your crew with a link; each gets their own sign-in.

Comes over

Your customer list

  • Names, phones, emails, addresses — service address first when your file has both.
  • Notes, and any column we don’t recognise, kept in that customer’s notes.
  • No duplicates: anyone already here by phone or email is skipped.
You set up once

About ten minutes

  • Your prices, starting from your trade’s list.
  • Your crew, by invite link.
  • Your request form — one switch, and it’s a page of its own if you have no website.

Past jobs and invoices stay in your old account’s exports; your books here start the day you move.

What you get

The office, from your phone.

Canadian tax, built in

HST, GST, GST + QST or PST for your province on every quote and invoice, and the tax report at filing time.

A page for every customer

Their visits, bills and quotes in one link. They can pick another day from the days you have room on, or book past work again — you answer with a tap.

Rain day? Move the whole day

Pick the next clear day and every job moves at once, with each customer’s text already written.

Photos on the bill

The crew’s before-and-after shots sit under the total on the invoice your customer opens.

Customers who send you work

Turn on referrals and every customer has a link to send a friend; you’re reminded to thank them when the friend books.

In your phone’s calendar

Every job in Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar — each crew member sees just theirs.

Not live yet: texting from a business number inside CrewDocket, and card payments on invoices. Today every Text button opens the message on your own phone.

Questions

Moving questions.

Stuck on your file? Email sam@crewdocket.com and we’ll look at it with you.

Will my customers hear from you when I import them?

No. Importing makes customer records and nothing else — no texts, no emails. They hear from you when you send them something.

Can I run both for a while?

Yes. Import your customers, quote and book new work in CrewDocket, and keep your old account until you’re sure. There’s nothing to cancel on our side.

Do my past jobs and invoices come over?

Your customer list does — names, phone numbers, emails, addresses and notes, plus any extra columns in your file, kept in each customer’s notes. Past jobs and invoices stay in your old account’s exports; CrewDocket starts your books from the day you move.

What if my file has columns you don’t know?

They aren’t dropped: anything we can’t place goes into that customer’s notes, so nothing you kept is lost.

What about duplicates?

Anyone already in CrewDocket with the same phone number or email is skipped, and duplicates inside the file are only added once. You see the list before anything is saved.

What does it cost?

Nothing right now, and you aren’t asked for a card. Paid plans aren’t set yet; the price will be posted on crewdocket.com before it applies.

Move tonight. Quote tomorrow.

Your trade, your business name, an email and a password. Then Clients → Import.
