1. Who We Are
Docket ("Docket", "we", "our", "us") is a business management platform operated by Ontario Window Cleaning. Our registered address is in Ontario, Canada. For privacy questions, contact us at privacy@crewdocket.com.
2. What Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the app:
- Account information — Name, email address, and password (stored hashed) when you sign up.
- Business data — Clients, jobs, invoices, payments, schedules, and any other data you enter while using Docket. This is your data — we process it on your behalf.
- Team/crew data — Names and email addresses of crew members you invite.
- Usage data — Log data such as pages visited, features used, error reports, and timestamps. Used to improve the product.
- Device info — Browser type, operating system, and IP address. Used for security and to display the app correctly.
- Payment info — When you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Docket platform.
- To authenticate your identity and keep your account secure.
- To send transactional emails (receipts, invoices, password resets). We don't send marketing emails without your consent.
- To respond to support requests.
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), with servers located in the United States. Firebase is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except:
- Service providers — Google Firebase (database/auth), Stripe (payments). These processors are bound by data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements — If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of others.
- Business transfers — If Docket is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred. You will be notified in advance.
6. Your Rights (PIPEDA / Canadian Privacy Law)
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Withdraw consent and request deletion of your account and data.
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

7. Cookies
Docket uses minimal cookies necessary for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party trackers.
8. Children's Privacy
Docket is a business tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
